About Family Business Week

What is Family Business Week?

Family Business Week is a week-long celebration of family businesses as a force for good.

Family firms are the backbone of the our economy and the bedrock of our communities.  However they are often overlooked, and the scale of their impact on our lives is underestimated.  Family Business Week is a campaign designed to ensure family firms get the recognition they deserve, and to celebrate their amazing work.

This year’s theme “Future Leaders,” will shine a spotlight on innovative and pioneering family business leaders and organisations that are shaping the future of family business for the next generation.

We will also be sharing advice and support on how to develop future leaders within your family business, and supporting the next generation in developing the skills they need to lead successfully.

Family Business Week is led by Family Business UK, the voice of the UK’s family business sector.
